After serving as a buyer at IDÉE SHOP in Minami Aoyama, he founded "method" in 2007 and began working as a freelance buyer. Currently the representative director of Method Co., Ltd. In 2013, "Special Edition Discover Japan: Specialty Stores for Living" was released by EI Publishing Co., Ltd. In 2014, "Design and Sense: Methods for Successful Shop Sales" was released by Seibundo Shinkosha Publishing Co., Ltd. He continues to engage in various activities such as serving as a judge for competitions, delivering lectures at educational institutions and production areas, and more. Some of the notable works include the National Art Center Tokyo Museum Shop "Souvenir from Tokyo," "21_21 SHOP," "GOOD DESIGN STORE TOKYO by NOHARA," "made in Pierre Hermé," and the "Tsubame Sanjo Factory Festival," among others.</span></p><p class="clear pt20"><em class="profile_name">出品者の想い</em>1954年に柳宗理によって自身のアトリエの工作用椅子としてデザインされた「エレファントスツール」。その後、コトブキ社で生産されたFRP製で水抜き穴加工がされています。その後、Habitatから復刻されたスツールを自宅で愛用していることもあり、長きに渡って保管しているだけだったため、しっかり使って頂ける方へお譲りして引き継いで頂けると嬉しいです。<br><br>The "Elephant Stool," designed in 1954 by Sori Yanagi, originally as a stool for use in his own studio. Subsequently, the stool was manufactured by Kotobuki Corporation using fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) and featuring drainage holes. Since then, I have been using a reproduction of the stool reissued by Habitat at home. However, as I have been storing it for a long time without much use, I would be happy to pass it on to someone who can make good use of it and continue its legacy.</p></p><br><br><font color=#00449b>*We would like to ask for your understanding on the following conditions to take part in the auction:<br>- All communications will be in Japanese including enquiries and documents related to terms and conditions.<br>- Shipments to addresses within Japan only.</font>
