To produce mid-century design homes, he sells a variety of suitable products.</span></p><p class="clear pt20"><em class="profile_name">出品者の想い</em>ALEXANDER GIRARD（アレキサンダー・ジラルド）がデザインしたハーマンミラー社製プリント生地のなかでも大変レアな「SCREW EYES」のデッドストック（未使用）を、アルテック製STOOL60に張り込みました。ネーミングもキュートです。生地は今から30年程前に、アメリカ・フィラデルフィアのディーラーから購入しました。この頃は現地ディーラーもまだビンテージ生地に目を向けていなかったためレア生地を入手するのが比較的容易で、例えば、当時NY・SOHO（ソーホー）にあるファブリック専門店の地下倉庫には宝物がたくさん眠っていました。この生地はそのなかでも色合いを含め、心安らぐデザインで私は大変気に入っています。<br><br>I upholstered an Altek STOOL60 with a very rare deadstock (unused) fabric called "SCREW EYES," designed by Alexander Girard for Herman Miller. The naming is also cute. I purchased the fabric about 30 years ago from a dealer in Philadelphia, USA.During that time, even local dealers hadn't fully recognized the value of vintage fabrics, making it relatively easy to acquire rare fabrics. For example, the underground warehouse of a fabric specialty store in Soho, New York, was filled with treasures at that time.
