While the items they handle are all simple, they exude originality within their modest designs.</span></p><p class="clear pt20"><em class="profile_name">出品者の想い</em>チョン・ヒョンジさんはオランダのアイントホーフェンを拠点とする、韓国の若手作家・デザイナーです。彼女は韓国の伝統的な絹素材ミョンジュを使って、作品を制作しています（骨組みはスチールです）。重厚なレンガの建造物を、透け感のある軽やかな素材で表現していて、実体のない「空白・余白」のような不思議な印象のオブジェ。所々にネップの凹凸が残る伝統的な絹の質感とモダンな形状は、時代性もクロスオーバーしているように感じられます。ミニマルなデザインでありながら、冷たい印象がなく、温かみを感じさせるのは深緑と青の絶妙な中間色、そして窓の存在がそうさせているのかもしれません。この作品のとても好きなところです。<br><br>Hyunjee Jung is a young Korean artist and designer based in Eindhoven, Netherlands. She creates her works using traditional Korean silk material called "myongju," with steel frameworks. It is an object that conveys the impression of a substantial brick structure using light and translucent materials, creating a mysterious impression akin to an intangible "blank space" or "margin." The traditional texture of silk with the occasional nubs, combined with modern shapes, creates a sense of crossover between eras. Despite its minimal design, it doesn't exude a cold impression but rather warmth, perhaps due to the subtle intermediate shades of deep green and blue, along with the presence of windows.
