After returning to Japan, he began their creative activities while also starting to collect design archives. He spent nine years renovating a traditional Japanese house in Yamanashi Prefecture, his new residence, and opened "SNORK MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY" in the spring of 2015. He mainly deals with vintage furniture and products from the Finnish modernism period.</span></p><p class="clear pt20"><em class="profile_name">出品者の想い</em>オラヴィ・ハンニネンが1950年代にデザインし、Huonekalu Mikko Nupponen社によって製造されたJuhaチェアです。彼が手がけたプロダクトには強く心惹かれるものがあり、これまでいくつか蒐集してきました。これもその内のひとつですが、オリジナルのJuhaチェアはなかなか市場に出回らない為、ようやく手に入れた思い入れのある一脚です。どなたか受け継いでくださる方がいればと思い出品させていただきます。<br><br>The Juha chair, designed by Olavi H&#228;nninen in the 1950s and manufactured by Huonekalu Mikko Nupponen. I have been strongly drawn to the products he has worked on, and have collected several of them over time. This is one of them. Original Juha chairs are not readily available on the market, so acquiring this one has been particularly meaningful to me.
