We reassess the meaning (value) of objects and consider the ideal form of furniture while ensuring solid craftsmanship. From interior design to construction and furniture production, we handle everything in-house to provide spaces and products with clear and understandable forms.</span></p><p class="clear pt20"><em class="profile_name">出品者の想い</em>1965年にイタリアのデザイナー、ジャンカルロ・ピレッティが公共スペースのために設計し、プライウッドとアルミダイキャストで構成されたパーツをクランプ式構造を用いたスタッキングも可能な椅子です。1970年代には世界中で採用されて、日本では1980年代から岡村製作所より販売されました。今回出品の椅子は、中古市場でも希少なプライウッドの仕様で通常の脚よりも長くなっており、他にも様々な種類を所有していますがこの脚のタイプは初めて見ました。現行品もあるようですが、アルミの経年変化は時間が掛かるのでビンテージの良さが際立っていると思います。公共用に開発されたので工業的な要素もあり、丈夫で長くご愛用頂ける椅子だと思います。<br><br>The chair designed by Italian designer Giancarlo Piretti in 1965 for public spaces, is composed of plywood and die-cast aluminium parts, allowing for stacking using a clamp-like structure. In the 1970s, it was adopted worldwide, and in Japan, it was sold by Okamura Corporation starting from the 1980s. The chair being offered this time is a rare model with a plywood construction, longer legs than usual, and a unique design. Although I own various types of chairs, this leg type is the first of its kind that I have come across. While there are contemporary versions available, the patina that develops on the aluminium over time adds to the vintage charm of this chair.Since it was developed for public use, it features industrial elements, making it a sturdy and durable chair that can be enjoyed for a long time.</p></p><br><br><font color=#00449b>*We would like to ask for your understanding on the following conditions to take part in the auction:<br>- All communications will be in Japanese including enquiries and documents related to terms and conditions.<br>- Shipments to addresses within Japan only.</font>
