He is involved in operating BATHHOUSE, which sells vintage goods sourced from import agents and various countries around the world. Additionally, he handles interior coordination and display for stores. In September 2015, he organized the first-ever Modernism Show in Japan.</span></p><p class="clear pt20"><em class="profile_name">出品者の想い</em>私が一番好きなデザイナーである Alexander Girad が、1960年代にニューヨークに存在したメキシコ料理店 La Fonda Del Sol のためにデザインを手がけたマッチストライカーです。その料理店では内装からスタッフのユニフォームまでとトータルでデザインをしましたが、その中でもアイコン的な存在であるストライカーは、古くから彼のルーツであるイタリアのカフェで使われていたものがデザインソースとなっています。そのカラーリングや独特なフォントのロゴのプリントなどは、彼らしさが詰まったアイテムです。ハーマンミラーでの仕事もさることながら、La Fonda Del Sol は彼の代表的な仕事の一つです。<br><br>It is a match striker designed by my favourite designer, Alexander Girard, for La Fonda Del Sol, a Mexican restaurant that existed in New York City in the 1960s. At the restaurant, we designed everything from the interior to the staff uniforms. Among them, the striker, which serves as an iconic element, draws its design inspiration from the Italian cafes that have been a part of his roots for a long time. The colouring, unique font of the logo print, and overall design reflect Alexander Girard's distinctive style, making it a truly iconic item. Indeed, while Alexander Girard's work with Herman Miller is well-known, La Fonda Del Sol stands out as one of his iconic projects.</p></p><br><br><font color=#00449b>*We would like to ask for your understanding on the following conditions to take part in the auction:<br>- All communications will be in Japanese including enquiries and documents related to terms and conditions.<br>- Shipments to addresses within Japan only.</font>
